Oh dear, I'm so embarrassed! I seem to have gotten you confused with someone else as far as having a lot in common when it comes to authors, though I'm sure you and I do have a lot in common when it comes to favorite authors since we're both very interested in literature! I actually just posted a literature-related discussion, and I thought you'd be perfect to pitch it to (we do have a lot in common when it comes to authors, if I remember correctly).
It's actually about a new book, recently published by a Minnesota author inspired by photographs her grandmother took. It got me thinking, what or who would inspire me to write a book? What or who would inspire my Gather friends?

The conservatives seem to get top billing at Gather. I have posted many liberal items and I never get featured like the conservatives do. When they get top billing they get a lot of comments on a worthless article.
